Car 401 is assigned to the First Assistant Chief (Chief 4-1) and serves as a mobile command unit. Built on a 2023 Chevy Tahoe chassis, it is equipped with an accountability board, a set of irons, a fire extinguisher, and a gas meter. This vehicle provides the Assistant Chief with the tools necessary to quickly establish command and direct operations on scene.
