About the Program
The Abingdon Fire Company Safety Matters Summer Camp provides children ages 8 through 12 with hands-on safety education designed to build confidence, awareness, and practical life skills.
Throughout this free three-day program, participants will learn important safety concepts from experienced first responders and community safety professionals through interactive lessons, demonstrations, and activities. Topics may include fire safety, first aid awareness, emergency preparedness, personal safety, bicycle safety, water safety, and more.
Snacks will be provided each day.
