Abingdon Fire Company – MD EMT Sydnee Holquist, along with Harford County Department of Emergency Services Paramedic Logan Cullum, EMT Josh Dillon, and Maryland State Police Paramedic Mike Elwarner, were recently recognized with the Emergency Medical Services Award by the Maryland Society Col. Aquila Hall Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution.
The award honors their quick thinking, professionalism, and teamwork during a fully involved vehicle fire that occurred last June. Their coordinated response and dedication to patient care exemplified service above and beyond the call of duty under challenging conditions.
