Apparatus Committee Visits Pierce Manufacturing for New Engine Build

Share Post:

This week, members of the Abingdon Fire Company Apparatus Committee traveled to the Pierce Manufacturing facility in Bradenton, Florida, to continue the build process for our new engine.

During the visit, committee members met with the Pierce team to review the apparatus and work through the final specifications and details. This is an important part of the manufacturing process, ensuring the new engine is built to meet the operational needs of our firefighters while providing the highest level of service to the residents and visitors of our community.

The committee’s attention to detail throughout this process helps ensure the apparatus will be equipped to safely and effectively respond to emergencies for many years to come.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Chris Breslin of Atlantic Emergency Solutions for his continued guidance and support throughout the project.

We look forward to sharing additional updates as the build progresses and are excited to bring this new apparatus into service for the Abingdon community.
