Abingdon Fire Company crews spent Saturday engaging with community members at several Public Safety Day events throughout the area. Apparatus and volunteers were stationed at Mountain Christian Church, St. Francis de Sales, and The Highlands School, providing attendees with an opportunity to meet local firefighters and EMS personnel, explore emergency vehicles, and learn more about the services we provide.
These events are an important part of our mission to educate the public, build community relationships, and inspire future generations of first responders. We appreciate everyone who stopped by to visit with our members and learn more about fire and life safety.
