Role Overview
As an Administrative Member with Abingdon Fire Company, you will:
- Provide operational and organizational support through recordkeeping, finance, logistics, and fundraising.
- Assist with community outreach, public education, and fire company events.
- Support recruitment, retention, and volunteer recognition initiatives.
- Maintain communication, correspondence, and documentation to ensure smooth company operations.
- Contribute to special committees and projects that strengthen the Fire Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track records, forms, and reports accurately.
- Assist with financial activities, budgeting, and fundraising campaigns.
- Support planning and execution of community events and public safety programs.
- Represent the company with professionalism when interacting with the public.
- Work alongside Fire and EMS members to ensure the success of all company initiatives.

Physical Requirements
While Administrative Members are not expected to perform the physical duties of Firefighters or EMTs, candidates should be able to:

- Work in both office and community event environments.

Administrative Members will receive orientation and training specific to their roles, including:
