Abingdon Fire Company has started a fundraiser to help support our 100 year Anniversary in 2025. We are selling the following items currently: Challenge Coin T-Shirts Patches The challenge coin and Patched are available for shipping where the T-Shirt will be pick up only. Challenge Coin: $10.00 (+$5.00 for shipping) Commemorative coin showcasing the 100 years of Service. The front side displays the modern day AFC logo where the back side showcases our first fire engine in front of the first fire station. T-Shirt: $20.00 (Not available for shipping), available is sizes Sm-XXXL Comes in either a black color or prairie color. The T Shirt showcases the Abingdon Emblem on the front breast with the wording 100 Year Supporter, and the back of the shirt has the American Flag with thing Red Line and the text of Abingdon Fire Company, Celebrating 100 years of Service to the community. The mission of the Abingdon Fire Company is to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fires, medical emergencies, environmental, and other disasters. We will accomplish our mission in a safe manner through prevention, education, fire suppression, medical services, rescue skills, and other related emergency and non-emergency activities and operate within the scope of our resources. The timely delivery of these services enables the Company to make significant contributions to the safety of the citizens of Abingdon and its surroundings. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all of the necessary resources at our command to provide a product deemed excellent by our citizens.
